Learning with purpose
ikigize is named for ikigai — the feeling of a fulfilled life. We help people find it and keep it: work toward real goals, and learn what you need for the next step.
Our mission
The name is a verb: to ikigize someone is to help them find ikigai and keep it.
For us that means large goals, broken into work you can actually do. Each task is a small stretch on the path. You learn so you can do something you could not do before — what that task needs, not a syllabus you hope becomes useful later. You use it, finish the task, and move on, at your own pace.
A lot of what you need already exists — in your files, with a colleague, in a video, in a course that sits in no catalogue, and increasingly with AI. Our job is to make the right piece reachable at the moment it unblocks the work.
That is the same idea for one person and for an organisation. A shared introduction helps while everyone needs the same basics. After that, the work gets specific. People need room to choose what fits, and help seeing what to learn and how to learn it.
How we think about learning
Learn so you can do it
The point is to be able to do something afterwards that you could not do before. A broad course covers many roles and leaves most of it unused. Often the next task needs one specific thing — one formula, not the whole Excel course.
In the flow of the work
Continuous learning happens when a new task needs a new ability. As AI becomes a partner in the work, learning moves into that moment: what you already know, what is still missing, and how deep you have to go to understand the result and stand behind it.
After the shared start
A common introduction helps while everyone needs the same basics. Later, people learn for the task in front of them — a course outside the catalogue, a video, a colleague, and increasingly AI.
Room, and a clear what and how
Another tool or another course is not the lever. People need room to choose what fits their work, and support in figuring out what to learn and how to learn it. The same for one person and for a whole team.
Where we're headed
A future where learning is substrate-first and AI-native — where the starting point is always what already exists, never a blank page.
